International student? Study at SVF!

Are you an international student and would like to study at SVF, in swedish or in english? Study at SVF!

Why would you go to Sweden and SVF?

First of all, it would give you a chance to meet students from many places in the world. Every autumn we have up to 15 American students studying at our school. Apart from this there are always some students from other countries taking a chance to improve their knowledge about Sweden and their knowledge in Swedish and/or English.

In the last years we have had students from Latvia, Russia, India, Palestine, Ukraine, Belarus, China, USA and Japan. To mention some nationalities. And,  of course, Swedes…

You have a number of different options:

  • You can study one semester at the International College Program. Read more about this here:
    International-College-Program.pdf
  • If you know enough Swedish and/or English before coming to SVF, you can also choose to join the regular studies at SVF. Your aim might be to study at a Swedish University, but you don’t have the requirements. We can, above all, help you with Swedish and English. Of course you would have other courses as well.
  • If we know your intentions and ambitions, we can try to help you tailor a program according to your needs.

We can also help you, as well as we can, to guide you towards university studies. If this is your ambition…

We will also make sure that you will see a lot of Jönköping and interesting places around Sweden. If the winter is good, you will try skiing!! If the autumn is hot, you can go swimming in the great Lake Vättern.

If you are a student from Europe, you will pay 4250 SEK every four weeks for food, accommodation, books, study material and study trips. Apart from this you also pay tuition fee, amounting to 10 000 SEK for one semester.

If you are a student from outside Europe, you pay the same amount, 4250 per four weeks, but 20 000 SEK for one semester as a tuition fee.

If you choose to stay for a shorter period of time, and we can make this possible for you, the amounts will, of course, be reduced in accordance with this.
